This is certainly one of the better tunes of this year's MC. The samples are a bit too often heard, but well, not everyone can afford expensive synths, and in this case, it's ok, as this song is definitely original enough to effectively compensate it. The chord progressions are good, the melody is really able to capture one's attention and also the drum usage is nice (tho actually a bit exaggerated, that is too 16th-oriented). Well, what can I say, it's a really nice song which also would be worth to be entered in the veteran section.

Good percussion. What really makes this song is the transition in the middle with the flute and strings. I feel that's the best part. Consider expanding it and slowing down the pace of the drums a little.

This song had a nice melody and a nice idea behind it. It could have made a really interesting song except for a few problems. First off, the drum trak was lacking quite a bit. It didn't have any interest really, and was quite ambient. I think the transitions in the song could have been helped out a lot by some impact with the bass drum. Again this makes the song kind of fit into the background, and that didn't seem the intention behind it. Also, the melody was understated. It didn't come through very clear: it wasn't loud enough, and it was clouded by everything going on around it. Bring out the melody more, maybe highlight it with a pad or something, and then get a rich, deep drum trak.

kinda goofy sounding. needs morme frequency balance, too much treble overall. a bit random and annoying.

Really nice resonance samples. The drumloop was also fresh and good-sounding. Excellent mix, especially in the beginning. The oriental touches with the flute lead were a delightful suprise. Generally the use of stereo works very well. The musical content is unfortunately a bit weak. Some very promising touches and phrases here and there, but some equally glaring errors. Buildups worked with bass and drum section were excellent. Disappointing ending. Hone the structure and explore your melodies, and your music will be that much closer to the veteran level.
