Nice, clean samples, although not so original. You've created a good stereo sound by clever sample-to-instrument management (pitch envelope), that's a plus in Your score for technical. But why did You need so much virtual channels (57) ? My P200 mixed them without any blood loss but please keep in mind all the other people with weaker HW or GUS cards (capable to mix "only" 32 channels). I liked Your arrangement, the drum sequence was really catchy and that flute sounded nice, warm... except that annoying noise in the beginning of the waveform, maybe that was Your intention... I won't penalize. The only fault in your song is the ending, that sharp cut with fadeout cannot be called nice and suitable. At all, I liked your tune, and will be happy to see You in the second round.

Good intro. Once the song went to Order 5, that didn't fit in with the musical statement that had just been made. When the lead came in at Order 07, wow! The bridge went in well. The guitar sounded too "pulpy", that could have been fixed. Now, when I listened to the song the second taime around, the song made a little more sence. When you had two completely different ideas in your song, it almost didn't fit together one bit! The song could have been improved by possibly adding better transition between ideas. The drums were well done. Overall, the song was pretty good and enjoyable.

great part at positions 13-14 ! The break at pattern 9 lacks of strongness. The tune is really orginial, with really interesting variations! above all, it's a really good tune!

Nice song. Good use of panning, nice leads, varied. It's not all too outstanding though. But it's well done ;)

What I liked most about this song was it's catchy theme. The artist did a good job keeping it varied and threw in a couple nice transitions that were quite pleasing to hear. The samples were "ok", some were good quality while others simply pass upon casual listening. There was one thing that I felt was missing in the song. Even though the drums changed and the lead changed and the theme had it's variety I noticed that the bass did very little changing. Granted that when the guitar came into play there really was no need for a true bass, but throughout the rest of the song the bassline was consistant. I was expecting and hoping that it would change. Perhaps do something other than the norm. It was a small detail, but even small details can change a song from one notch to a completely different one. My advice is this; Think of your song being played by a band and each person has their own particular instrument. Do you honestly believe that one person would sit aside and do the same thing over and over while the other's get to do something outside the bounds once in awhile? Of course not, and in this case the "bassist" would naturally have his/her time in the lime-light where he/she gets to show off his/her abilities. It's that little extra detail that always gets me and I'm sure others to sit back and go.. "nice, VERY nice.." Other than that the song was very good, nice effort.

Hmmm... were you extremly happy when you wrote this song, cuz it sure is making me happy just by listening to it....;-). Oh wow, and when I heard the guitar solo at Order 12, well I just loved it. Now lemme get off the soap box. It was a great tune, yes it was, except for one, quite major factor. It really didn't interest me much. Although this might be a personal opinion, please Don't get me wrong here. The tracking is great, the samples were all mostly good, but that's just it. I couldn't quite see myself listening to it every day. There are some VERY memorable melodies I could whisle on the bus all day long, but nothing overall stuck to me. One thing you could fix is the irritating "click" at the start of the flute sample. Why was there a need for this song to be 25 channels anyway? I think if less channel doubling occured you could have pretty much achieved the same effect. The "baseline" on the other hand also got quite irritating after I heard it 3 times, it need a lot more work. Overall? Yes, I liked it, but it did need quite a bit more work to make it. Nice work though!!
