Man, You cannot hide your style, even though You moved to IT. It's hard not to make a comparison to Nine One One. The title and the intro showed that I will hear a persian style. In fact, this tune is far enough from those mid-east taste music. Your tune is an extremely well done crosslink between them and a new-age synth-funk (or boogie as you called)... :) Really very impressive, shows Your great technique. Clean samples, variations, rythm. Hard to find something wrong. Excellent song, thanks, I will see You in the second round, sure.

The majority of the samples are of good quality with some interesting instruments included in this sample set. There is a good balance of various instruments adding wonderful harmony to this track, with great accompanying chords, progressions and blops helping to make up a very intricate piece of writing with a lot of hidden depth that keeps perfect time even without the beat accompanying. A very effective well written and tightly timed beat with good supporting basslines and very subtle backing percussion adding good depth. The mix of western and arabian keys gives a very full sounding frequency table. Good use of volume controls on instruments and some nice jazz funk influences injected. In all, a well written piece of music that flows along rhythmically and keeps the listener interested with new patterns and good melodic changes. Balanced well, and very originally for the most part, although maybe a fraction on the long side.

Nice use of bass. The tune is everchanging, yet flows smoothly... seems rather thin at times tho. I don't know what it would be, but throughout the whole thing it sounds as if SOMETHING could be added to thicken it out a little. On the good side, it has a nice, clean, yet changing, drum beat. The tune iteslf stays clear and easy to follow, and not boring. I especially liked the fade-in during the beginning, and the couple tracks after that which led you into the rest of the song. Well done. Overall, I can't escape the feeling of thinness tho.

-unique sound + -keeps true to "theme" throughout -complex tracking + -r r r r repetative - -ABUSES the four minute rule... -unique sample set + .. but many samps are low quality - -no emotional impact this song grabbed my interest for the first 45 sec, then my interest turned itself off... I don't dispute the skill and work that went into this tune.. but its too long, and doesn't really appeal

This song is just WELL done. Great feel, good samples, great work. I could find little wrong with this song. Melody line was well thought out, good feeling. I'll be listening to this one over and over.

Some sample cutoffs and clicks, but in general, the sample set is pretty good. An interesting song, good at getting that "indian" sound, and then the groovy change at order 9 manages to keep that feel while going to a more jazzy style. Very interesting meld of styles. Overall decent tracking, with some very good moments of clarity (the jumping 70's groove-style organ riffs all over the place are very nice). A good job of keeping the song interesting and changing chord progressions without breaking up the song. It's refreshing to see someone do something somewhat original. Me likes... ;)

This is a really awsome song. It starts out seeming like it's another cheesy song, but then it gets into an awsome groove. This like basically a WAVE song ;)

I was really irritated by this song as a whole. It's a perfect example of combining two things that shouldn't be combined.. cartoony synth music with some sort of arabian influence. It's just doomed to come out sounding silly, and silly it does! Technically it's tracked with great precision and as far as transitions and things like that go, this composer knows what they're doing. The problem is they don't know when to quit and this ends up sounding like some sort of caricature of a style of music.. it goes on way too long and the the synth leads get really really irritating; someone's obviously been studying up a bit too much on previous compo winners in order to decide what they're going to write.. I think that's one of the problems, it sounds very derivative. Like i said, technically it's fine, but other than that it doesnt have any staying power and it doesnt really hold your interest.. This is also a slight case of 'too much fiddling and tweaking'.. sounds like one of those songs that took quite a long time to make and unfortunately there was a little too much in the final product after all the frills were added..

Pretty good synthesis of music, even though they never quite seem to mesh. I liked the motion in the background; there was always more to focus on than the melody ( which was good, actually- the melody was IMO not as strong as the rest of the track. It was perfectly adequate, but not fantastic ) Panning helped a lot. Volume was all in order. There was a great sense of motion throughout, taking stereotyped 'arabic' music and twisting it into 'modern' rhythm did a lot of interesting things. Samples were well chosen; you did a good job of picking things that would be ambiguous between the styles. An all around good piece. Of course originality gets bonus points.

Probably one of the longest songs in this compo, it's got a character similar to Kustendil (m6i-kust.it), but much more "poppy" like last year's Twilight Groove. It has a nice blend of string instruments, flute, and appropriate voice samples. The riffs flow from one measure to the next seamlessly, the panning gives is it a wide hall-like feeling, and bass is tucked neatly into the background. The theme is perpetuated cleanly throughout and there are no noticible errors anywhere. Chord changes juxtaposed against the repeated melody might have been a refreshing addition. Overall, a very memorable, fine piece of work.

This thing is fun and great ;-)!!! Modulation is quite fine. I love it. Perhaps done by one from MON? No errors in this modul!!!!

Excellent tracking technique, but the song is far too repetitive. I don't find your main melody inspiring, it is hardly anything besides up and down on the oriental scale. The sitar doesn't sound like sitar at all, but I don't think that could be even managed without extensive sampling of a real acoustic sitar. You know, drone and resonance strings don't work if you throw them all into the same sample. Flow of the music is smooth, but parts are not very memorable. Some direct copying from the last year winner (I don't care if you are him or not). This is a good show of tracking skill and experience but lacks insight and true inspiration.
