Good ambience song indeed. I should add of course.... it's really too obvious where your inspiration comes from. Does "Kingdom skies" or e-94956 remind you anything ? It sure does. Enough crap. Even if it's not a copy of the winner of MC3, it has too much inspiration for me. No doubt you have skills composing. Your song has more depth than Jase's one. Your samples (even if some are probably borrowed : number 7 looks like the violins of FBY), panning and effects are good for sure. Maybe there is not enough tempo variations. Anyway, there is one thing if find useless. It's your sample 11 on channels 21 and 22 (for example at pattern 8 & 9). It sounds strange with the rest of the song. I have nothing else to add. If the song was more original, i should have raised my voting note to 85 but even with talent, if you don't build something from scratch, you won't get number one place (let's say number two, Necros always deserve number one :) ).

Great tune! sounds like a warcraft II song or something like that... :-) Intresting beginning - thou the echo doesn't sound so realistic. The chords and the way they are played are fit the tune's mood good. from order 8 the solo is very good - still it doesn't sound real. The background voice in patter 12 (channels 13-18) is intresting and good, but when in order 16 it becomes the main voice, it is only within the main bit, and is boring. The second part (from order 25)is beautiful, but the solo is not in the bit and a little late - and that's because of a "fade-in" in every note, and that's ruining the solo. The harp in the background is wonderful in that period. In the end of order 29 there is a mess for a second - needs to be fixed. The solo from order 30-end is svery good, but the end itself lacks in bit and ryghm. thank you ... and bye! vel.

This is quite a good tune, but the opening samples are not so good, and the song would probably have been better without. The technique is good, but could improve, both in tracking and mixing. Itīs rather original, and the samples are of pretty high quality and mostly good chosen. It has much variation and quite a few interesting ideas. The harmonies and transitions are good, but the ending is abrupt, and could use some work.

Wow. That's all I can say about this. I've heard a *lot* of songs, but Dragonslayer was one of the most original, professional, downright _good_ song I've ever heard. The samples were crisp, and even sound like there was some work done on them outside of the tracker (echos, removing noise, etc.). I loved how it started out slow, turning into a driving beat, and into a calm feeling to the end. It actually gave a feeling that there was a story behind the song. One of the few complaints I do have, however, was the use of panning. Instead of being implemented in the patterns, it was included in the instruments. Most of the time, it was fine, but now and then it was a little overbalanced on one side or the other. That's about it, however. I could imagine an orchestra actually playing this, which was yet another reason for the high score. But, most of all, it is just plain fun. Great song.

This song is a shining example of how well orchestras music can be tracked. It's so beautifull it makes me forget about all the technicalities I should be looking for. It's got a bold sound you can easily get lost in. Samples were chosen and utilized well. Song sounds like it was very well thought out. The only thing, in my opinion, that can be done to make it a tiny "smidgin" better is to draw out the big "heavy to light" transition a little more. It happend a little fast for me, I thing a tiny bit more could have done with it. As a whole though, a deeeelightful song! Good job!

Aahnold. Very nice introduction. The timpani is a little abrasive however. It sounds like some of the samples are being played beyond their intended range of availability. With strings it's easy to get away with playing them far and wide. Horns, on the other hand, can be difficult. I like the switch over into the new mood of the music. Not too abrupt, not too extended into it, but very nice. Excellent way to end the song: on a peaceful note. Well done track. It almost seems like it was too short, however. Definitely an original track.
