A rather uninteresting sample set but it is of fair to good quality. There are a few clicks from the bass in this track when it breaks to silence which subsequently cause a lose of flow and feeling. The standard beat fits the style of the tune well, but could benefited from more originality. A good choice of base sound and a fair bassline that complements the other instruments. The piano and string line is well written, although a little minimal, and the occasional background samples help to add effect. Pattern 24 the speed change is uneffective and has no follow through from what came prior to it. Pattern 29 and the ending in general seems pointless, and has no reflection on the rest of the track, it is almost as though it was left in by mistake. A fairly well written track but lacks in polish and needs more originality.

Excluding the effect, I thought that the drum loop wasn't needed. The echo of the loop was a nice touch, but the loop didn't sound all that great. The piano is nice. And the intro is professional, but the first bridge is abrupt. Also, the sinewave serving as the bass sounds overused. The sinewave as a lead, however sounds very nice and crisp. The ending is nicely interesting :) Not much I can really say about this tune, as I usually say negative things =). All in all, a nice slow groove song. One thing about this particular style is that it has been done to death and beaten by the man called origonality holding the pain stick. After all, one of the reasons of Music Contest is to find new styles. While this song has new flavors, it leeches off of smooth jazz rather than drinking the sap of a tree called origonality. Getting nicely metaphorical :) Enough said, Excellent Job!

Good song, but not without some problems. First of all, the beginning. I'm sure you could've had a more imaginative intro than just a breakbeat! Perhaps the piano bit could have started the song off in some way. Order 5 starts off an excellent bit of the song, I thorougly enjoyed pretty much everything from order 5 to order 22, inclusive. Order 14-17 is fantastic! Although the sinewave bass is too loud throughout the whole song. Now, once you get to order 23, the theme changes. But why? The song was sounding really good! Did you run out of ideas on how to continue the song? I wanted more of the good stuff you had earlier! And in the ending, what was the purpose of the "eye-poking-out" sample? Very out of place, and it was not an effective ending. But, since the middle part of the song was so great, I won't complain.

-great sample set, nice hi-quality, clean-sounding samples -cool bassline, but a loop for main perc...? -good overall sound -nice use of piano -showing off a bit with the unessasary panning -change of pace at order 23 didn't fit -awful ending! what happened? why the cartoon noise? -put me in a nice groovy foot-tapping mood until order 23 nice, CLEAN, sound, good perc, fairly original tune too... good sample choice but the ending ruined it

Good sense of groove in this one. Drum samples are good enough to be on a CD. the author evidently knows a bit about R&B structure and chords, and it shows in this piece. The leads are tastefully executed. My only qualm is with the second section of the piece which doesn't quite meld with the first.

As this song started I assumed the worst - this was going to sound like Mary Had a Little Lamb with a drumloop. But when the whole mix comes in, this song surprised me. It really surprised me. The leads are awesome. The chord progression is also very likeable, and the piano part, though very simple, is a nice addition to the song. The only thing that disappointed me was the slowdown at the end of the song where the feel of the song changes completely. I have no comments on the very end (what was the point of that part?) Your samples are good but the real art here is done with the mixing of the samples, so I'd score you very high in the technical category. Your form is good, nice chord progs and though the melody is not particularly catchy imho it's still well tracked (I guess that also goes into tech category though.) Anyway, I was impressed by this song, so far it's been the best one I've heard in this compo.

Originality +. I had to listen to this a few times to feel up to judging it. Kind of a crossbreed between elevator music, funk and rap. Not at all what I expected. The end was also very unexpected. Worked, tho. Nice use of silence and repetition throughout. The way you blended things was interesting, but the different parts were a bit disconnected. The worst flaw here was the weak progression- "da Suite" never really got to much of a climax. Still, a lot of interesting things about this track....

Sounds like a handwriting i actually know and like very much. Great modul :-)!!! Perhaps it was done by radix/fm? No errors in this modul just fine melodies ;)
