This song starts off with a piano riff which is used as the main "hook" for the song. And used. And used and used and used.. it repeats 16 times at the start of the song before a change. This is far too many. Perhaps 4 times, maybe even 8.. but not 16. At least the composer attempted to have a hook for the song, something people will remember, but it was not a good idea to drum it into the listener like that. It's far too repetitive. This is a shame. It is a song that seems to be crying out for a lead of some kind on top of it - it just sounds like backing at the moment. It's like a rock song after the vocals have been stripped off. So, it looks like the form mark will not be great. It isn't complex anyway, with quite a simple structure and chord progressions. It simply lacks movement. The samples are OK, although some (the slap bass in particular) seem low quality. The set as a whole works alright. The piano instrument is quite good, which is fortunate as it has to hold the song together. Technically the song is competent without being outstanding. The simple problem with it is that it seems like it is a one-idea piece - the composer got the piano hook down and then, rather than expanding on it and adding a song to it, just copied it over most of the song and added some backing. If it had a lead or even vocals it could be quite nice, but as it is, it's just too dull and repetitive. But at least I can still remember the hook (something which I couldn't say about a lot of other songs).

really nice'n intersting bass line... nice arrangements... but NO MELODY!..; we wait for one... but never get it...

Very repetative. Nice beat though. You use the piano too much in this peice.

Just doesn't seem to be much to this tune. It leaves you with a rather hollow feeling. This is mainly due to the orchestration. The bass is very weak, and not much middle field. The organ was a bad choice for the chords, especially the chords used with it. The notes clash due to them being too close together , and the pitch too low. The drum pattern is repeated over and over again, as well as the main theme implemented by the pianos. There isn't enough dynamic range, as all the instruments hang round middle frequencies. The panning however is quite decent, and doesn't rely on panning envelopes heavily like quite a lot of other entries. The bridge around sequence 9-10 is quite nice. I feel something more should have been done with this part. The tune needs to either be more catchy, or have a stronger theme if people are going to remember it.

Extremely monotonous, and you maintained ONE damned note all the time. Your percussion was badly mixed and banal, and your bass was rather awful (BAD BAD BAD sample). "Enemy Within" wasn't very good tracked either. Your main theme was interesting enough, but there's PLENTY room for improvement here.
