Good mixing, good sample set. Bass change when the chords are introduced sounds a bit odd, and the drum cutoffs, while well done, last too long and are therefore too harsh. I love the vocals that introduce order 10. Melody is sound but not really catchy because it's not simple enough (granted this style is supposed to sound 'jamming'), and should span across patterns rather than being self-contained in each pattern which allows us to hear the joins. Good, nicely doubled-up, well fitting and in-tune vocals which suffer from the usual clichés like the note change in the second set. Nice use of porta on the vocals, good transition to the slower section, panbrello effect on the chords gets annoying (keep chords fixed, when was the last time you heard a commercial track with chords flying between the speakers?). Good chord changes, especialy in the last section. You seem keen to show off your talents judging by the tricks you've incorporated in one track, and it pays off. A solid, very listenable tune. Well done.

Good ideas, well made. Order 5, the melody timing seemed a bit off. Too many breaks in the beginning of the song, save them for later. Vocals were WELL done, I liked them a lot. Panning and nna's well done. Good thinking put into this song, but we got to order 20 and it seemed like the deadline was drawing close. Too rushed, not a very good transition into this part of the song. Needed a bit more fleshing out. Needs some work but a decent song.

Quite an average song in my opinion. It lacks mostly in technique and form. Although it has variation, the transitions are pretty bad. It has some interesting ideas though, and the song samples are used in quite a good way. The samples are mostly of about average quality, and it has some originality.

I like the percussion in this song. I also like the cool female voice sample. But the lyric samples didn't sound good at all. Also, the transition to the last 5 patterns was very abrupt. With some better construction and better vocals, this song could have been a lot better.

A really cool song. I haven't heard anything like it. It's soothing, yet it has a backbeat that keeps it going. I really like the drums, they sound real. The vocals (words) are cool. Who sang them? The tracker? Oh, well. The piano solo is really neat, also it's backing strings. The "aaaahhhhyyy" sample is cool. It sounds kind of rushed at high sampling rates, but that's to be expected. The background strings are amazing, along with the bass. It just meshes perfectly. I can't think of anything that detracts from this song. Whew! You are really good. A veteran to be sure. The song's panning is tremendous, the volumes work together to entice the listener. The samples are all in tune and of exceptional quality. When you track, you do not mess around :). Overall: A great song that I expect to see go very far.

*File Specs* [Additional vote] Room for brainstorming II [Filename]m6v-evwm.it [Title]Every wasted minute (moment?) [General comment]Here we have a very intresting concept, i have only noticed a few other competitors who add serious vocals in their repetoire. The songs start good, very funky rythm, good breaks, it lacks a bit of Sfx which is sure not the most important issue of composing but they might add one more noticable aspect of finishing touch. Most samples are very pure unfortunately the vocal samples are not seriously clear but they fit in the song anyhow, i guess it is the byte-limit what is the cause of all the trouble for the samplequality on that specific area. The environment is not too wide and not too deep, but it sure gives this song the shape it needs to have to sound in what kind of "space" it is played. The ending (from songpos 20) is a bit dull in my humble opinion, it starts to loose it's catching groove and actually turns into an ordinary tracked mod with exception of the piano emulation. No more time/intrest in composing/inspiration anymore?

A really in-your-face song with a lot of energy and activity going on. The vocals were recorded and performed quite well, though it sounded syncopated at times, or is it suppose to be?? Some nice rhythmic leads going on during the song, esp. sample 02 and 15. Interesting bass sample. Nice changeup in the middle, where it goes into a slower tempo. Overall, a funky and exciting song with alot of variation.
