The song was quite varied and had an assortment of transitions. However, it did seem to lack an ending and even though the song had a nice theme to it, it wasn't put to the foreground enough to develop it into a solid one. It was interesting to put in those orchhits as well, but that sample sounded old and overplayed by many others, and despite that the quality of it wasnt fantastic. (Although I do concede knowing full well how hard it is to find "good" orchhits these days that not everyone else has used.)

i've never heard a tune in this style before, kind of triphoppy.. with fast breaks and slow melody. at first i didn't really like it, but it grew on me. it's probably the best song i've reviewed so far, and definitly belongs in the veteran catagory. originality. well, your song was different in many ways, but not a giant leap from the typical tracking/demo scene style. form: your song had excellent musical tone and a real good feel to it. i liked it a lot. it had good transitions, pleasent lilting melodies, and didn't jar the senses. it flowed well. technique: nothing amazing, but very good tracking skills. i'm guessing you have had musical experience other than tracking. samples: good use, many original ones, but some same-old same-old. the lead voice you used toward the end reminded me of "nine-one-one". your breaks could use a little beefing up. they are a little sporadic, and didn't cut throught the mix right. but as a whole, the samples are very well matched and the sound is professional. i really like this song.

This song has a nice sound, with a well balanced, well orchestrated texture. The transitions are smooth and the samples are nice - the breathing samples are a good touch. The drum loop is used effectively and the song has a real feeling of motion. In pattern 7 the lead instrument in channels 18-20 sounds a little out of tune. I like the good simple riffs in the piano, and the progressions are nice. The change of speed is well tracked and the ending is good. The samples and panning are good and appropriate. Well tracked!

The guitar + string instrument in the beginning needs a little more fadeout time than you've given it here. I like the lead that has just come in, it's one of the better tracked leads I've heard thus far among the songs I've rated. The drumloop you're using is not what I was expecting. That breathing is kind of stupid sounding, I hate to tell you. The samples in this song are not the best. The form is not bad, and the leads are well-done. No problems with the originality area, nor in the technical area (again which you demonstrated skill in with the lead.)

Very cool song. With a weird name and strange vocals, gotta think what's running through your mind, but it's a very catchy tune and very well done ;). I especially liked the drums ;)

The beginning was a nice fade-in; very peaceful...The mid part of order 2 made my friend say, "Awwww..." and me nearly shed a tear when we first heard it....Lots of speed variations add to the piece....Overall, it's a well-rounded veteran song, which should do well in this competition. I can't see any glaring errors, and anything that I might come up with would only be a slight tweak here and there.
