Very interesting song. I love the intro, it's trippy and relaxed and bubbly and stereo. Nice use of that open hihat played at a really low octave. The strings you have in here are really cool, and the thing you have going in channels 7 and 8 are nice as well. Good drums when the song 'kicks' in with that relaxed bell melody. The only thing I would ask for is maybe some highend strings played at a low volume. Or a really groovy low sine bassline or something. Order 14, channel 2: very cool. Excellent panning in this song. I think that's what makes this song so cool. Weird swing beat by the way. Weird sounds on channels 29 and 30 from order 32. I'm not sure what I'd replace these with but they are a bit odd for my tastes.. Order 36: Odd chip melody in channel 1, but I LOVE that stereo white noise.. Too bad you faded it out, it added some nice/weird atmosphere to everything. Order 40: Channel 7 and 8. I know you've been playing these melodies earlier in the song but when they are the focus they get kind of odd. Pleasant ending, although I think it would've been cooler had you kept the white noise all the way until then, and faded it out or cut it :) This song is not horribly complex, yet it is very very original. And not only is it original, it is actually original AND cool to listen to. I don't know how many of your samples are ripped, but I don't care that much about that aspect. The samples are of good quality. From a melodic aspect the song isn't much but from a groove aspect you do a nice job laying down the drumlines, throwing in those weird effects and having it all sound good with that odd swing beat. From my aspect it's great. You do a great job using IT to control all the details, so technically it is pretty good, too. Well done!

-Nice- opening. A little tonality, a little rhythm, a bit of a soundscape, subtle strings... It really -says- something, where most songs just introduce the progression. I really like the use of the rhythm. It's in the groove--just a bit behind the beat... Wonderfully done. The lead is also noteworthy: again, subtle, but interesting. Just the right sample. The backup is perhaps the strongest aspect to this song--you paid a lot of attention to it. There are problems with this song, though: that voice sample in patterns 17 and 21 is just a bit off-pitch, and it doesn't sound right used at differing pitches. The lead-ish thing in 22 and 23 is also kind of out of place. And there are little "burps" in the samples here and there. Lastly, though, the song never really finishes what it starts... No creshendo, no big statement of purpose. It ends like it begins, and loops on through infinity, never really adding much. Still a nice track. Well done.

A nice ambience is set at the beginning but the song goes nowhere. Interesting beat. Nothing outstanding though. Sounds the same althrough the song. Bad tuned samples here and there, careful!

Why is this tune entered as a Veteran? "Imperfect" is a tune of no veteran qualities whatsoever. It is ugly, the drums are out of sync, and every lead is random and bad. My ears started aching after a minute or so, and I was forced to turn it off.

Since this is "emergency voting", I don't think I need to be too concerned about making comments, eh?
