few if any noticable technical flaws anywhere... good samples good job tracking, nice use of everything, you definately know how to get to what you want... fun floating and sweeping melodies do an excellent job of sweeping me away... great variety in everything, nothing ever stays the same, excellent, always morphing... overall a really nice song, however, your samples suffered a bit due to the module size limit... if only you could have full quality on everything... however, it only just kinda keeps flowing, it's always changing, but it never gets really exciting anywhere or really gripping in any way... it's sort of just studio work written out... other than that it's a great piece technically...

I like very much the way your soft song begins. There is a big work onto the panning and stereo effect and that is just great. Samples are quite good (some, such as &1E and &23, a bit too synthetic for me) and enough rich & varied to give depth to your tune. You master volume too. We hear every instruments, every effects. Maybe you could have done the same song with a very few channel less, but anyway this is a great piece of music.

hmmm... this song is slowly growing on me but I can't entirely make up my mind about it though. Very nice samples, nicely looped. Skilled tracking, lots of panning used which fits within the audioscape and give it a good swing (I'm not one of those panning haters out there :) Good tune for those late nights when you're mellowing out after tiring day. Sadly, not much I can offer here though.

A nice executed mellow piece, which almost never resorts to cliches and keeps up musical interest by constantly varying sample orchestration and percussion. At the end, the repeating bass line starts to limit the piece, however.

The organ progression at the beginning is well put together, but has very distinctive (read: familiar) chord progressions. It's still part of a pretty original intro. I like the panning on that Lizardking-sounding saw synth in track 14 at order 25 -- skillful stereo effects are always worth good points. :-) The song title is so well-chosen too. You can't help but think of those lumpy green stones. It's very chill and has a relaxing effect. This entry skillfully blends numerous influences from tracked and non-tracked music into a sweet, very catchy, quiet yet original song that definitely sounds like skill and thought went into it. I like.

It's going to be kinda tough to write this review, since usually what I do is pick apart songs and point out what could be improved. It's horrendously hard to do that on this one, because this song is pretty gosh-darn near perfect. The samples are surreal but top-notch, the harmony, leads, and percussion are highly original (although it for some reason reminds me of the famous module Cotton Woll), the song's development and flow are without equal, and it's generally just one excellent piece of music. One of the few complaints I could raise without feeling silly is that the song doesn't quite feel finished. The ending was satisfying, but around a third of the way through the song all the instruments had been brought in and the climax had basically been reached. The remaining portion of the song was all a fade-away, surreal glimpses of what had been but wasn't anymore. ... In conclusion, I'm stupefied. This piece is really incredible. I wish the composer good luck in the competition.
