Weird but well done. Good samples, creative use of vibratos. Slow part is better than the rest of it. A little repetitive sounding in certain parts.

Good introduction and building of the song. Good beat. Really seems like there could be some lyrics that could go with it.

Odd lead sample, but I like it. Nice funky beat and bass line. It good to hear a song that ends sounding finished (ie. rather than a simple fade out). However, maybe it's just me, but there seems to be a bass note that's left hanging at the end. A minor thing, but still. A well thought-out song by a talented composer.

A very strange song. It sounds very good, even thinking it has many channels at the same time. I don´t understand this type of music, but I have to recognize that it is a good theme. Very good sample quality and technique.

Sounded off key. I don't know if it was deliberate but it hurt the song anyway. The chord progressions were rather uninspired. The bassline is okay. The lead was well-done but as with the chords uninspired and random. The percussion was good. The mood was okay but rather empty. The song didn't seem to go anywhere, though it tried. The swing worked with it though. Abrupt ending. Good luck on your next song!

Although the technical aspects of this song were very good (both melodically and programming-wise), it just didn't "grab" me. I would have rated this song higher in the individual categories had this been round 2. The use of panning added depth to the soundstage. The strings were always subdued and tasteful - something many of the other entries neglected. Overall the song was mixed really well. The variety of melodic samples kept the song from getting stale with the same old lead. The chord changes, although quite strange at times, were workable. As I listened to the song, the feeling I got was a bit uneasy. After a few listens, though, everything fit together much more nicely. This is skillful music, but it takes a discerning ear to appreciate it.
