Amazing introduction : the guitars offers great contrast with that old sleepy synth sample. Obviously, you like working on important flows of instruments simultaneously. Be carefull about volume mixing, but you did it right. Pay real attention about tuning : pattern 19, the strings and the piano do not match ! Pattern 19 again, the piano melody sounds like a _really_ famous song. Copy or not ? There is good technique, good ideas, but no real originality.

The first half sounds like some song from the Top Gun soundtrack, and then second part sounds like Cannon by Pachiavelli. As my friend says, "I would never have thought of putting them together."....This wasn't a bad song; it's just using stuff that sounds just like the stuff I mentioned above, with only a few minor variations, so that the song ends up sounding somewhat cheesy or worn....The tracking ability is probably midrange veteran, as effects and volume are thrown together with enough skill that skill is pretty evident.

Very old samples. Sounds like a five years old .MOD. Though, it's nicely done and I must say I like it. It sounds very full, the samples are old and grainy and I like the mood change in the end. Don't use Trademarked samples.

I think your use of sampled chords is not very good idea. The panning is mostly too extreme to my taste also. This one works better with speakers than earphones. The beat lacks kick and doesn't improve the feel of this track much. Totally unimaginative chords. I even hear some clashing notes, and the bass guitar should not be just slapping after slapping. Voicing is totally inadequate, and mostly due to the use of sampled chords. The slower and softer piano part is not tracked very well. Learn more about playing instruments you are trying to model and get a synth so you don't need to rely on ripped samples. You do have the ear to make good-sounding music, and you are going to be much better than this with practice.

Well I kinda though you were swiping from pacobell's canon in D at the end but I'll let it go. the song was ok but it severely lacked a professional sound. I think the problem was in the volum sometimes and the samples definitely.

This is such a good song, but are a few things that stop it from being a great song. The bass which changes whole octaves at a time has got to go. The beat is for some reason one sample, even though a cleaner one could have been done manually. Lastly, the bass drum is too high pitched for this style of music, it sounds like a techno drum. However, this song is awesome, the beginning has a very gothic, castlevania-esque feeling to it, and the piano and strings part att the end is brilliant. The riffs are perfect, just a few minor changes and this song would be great.
