*File Specs* [Filename]m6v-nel.xxx [Title]Never ending Love [Total playing time]Over 04:00 minutes *Musical Values* [Creativity]It starts nice, looks like it is variable but then starts to fall into a repeative mood which is a pity, the transitions are nice and the baseline is quite variable in the beginning, i guess the author became a bit lazy after a while. [Story]Lovestory, yeps completely. [Structure]Builds up nicely, shows two motifs and then breaks into a kind of groovy percussion baseline with a soul-rythem snare tack each 6/4th, strange combination. [Harmony]fair.[Realness/Fantasy factors]Okay. *Technical Values* [Instruments]Fairly arranged [Samples]A few bad loops, a few familiar ones, a few cut-off at the end [Arrangements]Default, i don't have any remarks on the arrangements. [Use of...]N/A [Sample Quality]Mainly good. *Sounding Techniques* [Depth]Okay. [Width]Okay. [Headphones]Average [Speakers]Average

The panning effects were used well, especially with certain ambient sounds. Most samples were high quality, but the piano sounded a little too synthesized for the rest of the song. Also, it seemed to stay on one note for the majority of the song. It didn't actually have any real key or tempo changes, which I've sort of come to expect from veteran entries. However, what this song did have was heart. It was actually the only song of its kind that I judged. It didn't quite make up for the repetitive nature or lack of change, but it helped. Oh, and it also went way over the 4:00 mark. I kept listening: I don't like that restriction either.

Reminds me of Enigma and their Prism of Life. I like the relaxing atmosphere. However, there was not enough variation or development through the song. Be careful about non-changing beats - it rarely works. Yet the simplicity of the song also mad it attractive. The actual beat combination with the "clap" snare and the use of sample 19 made the difference between interest and boredom. Overall, I enjoy the song, but find that you need to develop the piano a bit more.

Now this... this... this is a good song. This is something that I can listen to while I stare at the ceiling and think about my life as a whole. It's a very centemental piece and is *easy* to fall right into. Technically, the piano sample was very well chosen, and the harmony that it eminates is simply beautiful. I love the beginning, I love the ending, and I love everything in-between. Than buzzy/birdy sound really adds too. There is only one thing I would do to this song to make it better, and that is to keep hitting the bass drum every 16 lines instead of going to 8 (like it does sometimes). It just makes more sense to my ear that way. This doesn't drag the song down at all though, just a suggestion. Good job on a song well written.
