A beautifully-orchestrated song with grand-scale brass and a sweeping strings section. The style of the song very appropriately fits its title and has several interesting themes inside of it; the somber flute section was especially well done. The melodies flow seamlessly with smooth transitions between sections. The whole orchestration is also interesting with countermelodies and light percussion filling out the background. About the only thing that would have made this song more memorable is a strong, vibrant lead scratching out some really catchy melody. Rarely are orchestral-type pieces done with style. Good show.

Sounds like newsflash tv-show intro of the future - brilliant idea and bril- liant sound. Impressive. Very impressive. Awesome chords/pan/volume work. Mood breaks are wonderful. Enchanting chord-prog. Proper drumline. Bass/ar- rangement are well-done. Good samples. Overally - a masterpiece. Fresh ideas and brilliant technique. Veteran on the height.

This tune definitely lives from it's cool sounds and great athmosphere. Real musical originality is missing now and then, but especially the slow minor part in the middle shows a good feeling for harmonic and melodic aspects. A nice song.

I like this song. It reminds me a little of Vangelis' "1492" soundtrack but with an interesting mix of a news-intro-like theme (hence the name I guess). Good quality sound. The slower middle section could have been built up to a larger climax. This theme has more feeling than the other and therefore has the ability to take the listener further, deeper into the song. Another theme similar to the one starting at pattern 06 but slightly varied in chord progression would have been nice. I know you change key later on but there could have been better ways to vary the song. Whole song could have been longer, especially that middle section. Great song.

wow. except for perhaps a few weak transitions, this is an *excellent* song. the sample quality is excellent, and the technique is there as well. parts of this track sound literally cd-quality. (the twinkly stuff up high really lends itself to that "professional" sound) really, this track sounds like something straight off a vangelis album: great work.

Powerful orchestral piece. Crescendo was a bit too long.. spanning 5 patterns. Yet, a bit too simple, as a large portion of the song was simple just changing key. Reminds me of the simplicity of m5v-emel - simple, yet the tune is captivating. Generally nice development throughout the song with great special effects. As a slow song, your chords became very overpowering (a good thing). They made the song sound impressive and full of impact. IMHO, this song is a prime example of veteran tracking. I even have no complaints about the end. Bringing it back to the beginning so soon was not a problem as the conclusion melte right into the beginning. Despite the circle, the song still sounded like it had extreme purpose and meaning. The flute solo was also impressive. You left nothing unperfected and for that, I thank you. My favorite track.

okay here we go. i love this tune. no need to criticize it, since i find it rather flawless. the arrangements sounds like something vangelis could have come up with, and the idea of a weather forecast theme is just so cool. great work buddy.

Cool intro. Strings samples are nice, and well layered. Orchestra hit has some wierd phase/flange on it that I don't really care for. Rest of percussion is nice. Pizzacato background samples have kind of a high-end. Almost too treble-y. Percussion overall is nicely handled. Transition to slower, more mellow part is a bit on the rough side? Maybe dragging out a sample or two through the transition might help. Transition back though is handled very nicely (Order 30). There's a lot of chord variety in this song, yet it still seems somewhat repetative. Overall, very well tracked. Definitely belongs in the Vet section.
