Interesting that you would enter this style of song into the premiere internet music competition. I commend you on trying to enter a dance tune, but as you would expect there are a lot of people who would not give you high scores on the basis that there is a 4/4 bassdrum. I however, being a club dj saw where you were coming from and I still didnt think that the song was captivating enough. When I try and write a dance tune, I keep in mind that people will want to dance to it, at least tap their feet, and for this reason I always try to create a certain groove. Your song lacked the "feeling" that this type of music requires and it was overly repetitive, remember even the best house/trance/acid/whatever songs arent even that repetitive. The name i feel suits the tune nicely, although it seems to me that the chase has gone on about 2 minutes too long. You also gave me a very lazy ending, and I feel you could have made this song a lot better if it had been more varied.

notes: "where the heck is the song??!!! all im hearing is some drums and a scratchy, annoying sample played over and over again".. try adding some more obvious musical elements next time you enter veteran...

Horrible noise. I get a headache after 15 secs of it! Complete lack of taste, ideas and so on so on. How can you call this music?! I was the perc that saved it from a 0 points mark. Next time think at least twice before you enter something like this!

Tracked with less skill than you would expect from a veteran. -.- Aweful song I usually hear at the the 'hornet archive' (actually : always).

This is a dreadful mess of atonal noise, I'm sorry to say. It starts with an irritating low pitched noise, then brings in a poor set of techno drum sounds. The "leads" which are then used seem to be just untuned noise. Technically the song is poor. The mixing is appalling, partly because the noise masks most of the other instruments. Rather than use volume commands and control the volume of the instruments to mix them carefully, the composer just doubled up channels. In fact they copied the bass drum track to 3 channels. Just panning one channel left and the other right is not enough - it has the same effect as panning them to the middle. You need to actually change the sound of one channel slightly, with a portamento up/down, a note delay or a sample offset command, if you want a "fake stereo" effect. On the plus side, you did use panning. The samples in this song are terrible. The drums are OK although entirely generic, dull and unoriginal, but the rest of the sounds seem to be a complete mess. There is no harmony, no melody.. it's just a horrible dirge. Get some samples which aren't noise, it would be a good idea. This is a dissonant, badly mixed atonal cacophony right now.. it needs a lot of work to make something good out of it.
