PTC Sucks, but this song doesn't. The title doesn't make sence... anyway... this is a very good jazz tune. You had the pannings levels too extreme, especially for people wearing headphones. The song sounded better through speakers or mono. The song was a little too synthy for a jazz tune. The drums were good (the synth tom ALMOST didn't fit in). The bell-pads were a nice touch, but having a non-synth instument with a band of very synthy instuments didn't mix too well. The ending could have been better (the song just stopped), and the song should have been longer. Don't stop a good song too early, but repeat (which of course wasn't done in this song). In summery: Extreme panning, too synthy. Other than that, a good and enjoyable song. Listen to some of Radix's stuff.

Excuse me if this is your real style, but my first thought upon playing this song was "god no, not another WAVE clone." I'll try to judge it fairly nonetheless. Well, for starters, this song is really short and goes nowhere. Since you basically play the same happy ditty the whole way through, there's not really enough variation, but since it's under 2 minutes, I guess you don't have room for that much, but come on! You could at least have thought up more than one thing to do. This song looks like it was put together right before the due date of the competition.

Good beginning - no-nonsense intro. The bass sample could have more edge. As it is, the bass, which is a vital element of groovy music, is lost and the leads are overdominant in the mix. Pad background sounds cool and is appropriately mixed. I like the sound but this song has nothing to remember it by. No memorable themes or chord progressions. You earn your score with the sound and the relatively groovy beat and bassline.

really ugly panning use with the bass, drums, well, with everything... it's like you've got qsound turned on on your stereo and never turned it off so you never learned where the panning REALLY sounds like it's coming from... yeah, sounds better with qsound, but really muddy and muffled um... kinda nice beats, not completely original, samples are fairly clean but not the best in the world, leads sound really familiar, as for the lead melody itself, it's very synthswingpop, and the song is cut short... dunno, not very remarkable to me, but tracked decently, save for the panning...

Very short song. :P You obviously have a feeling for harmonies and can croon fairly good solos. The melody is rich and the percussion complementary. Although not exactly negative towards score, I found the instrumentation to be very "grainy". Otherwise, the instrumentation was good. The bass is also a little bit on the busy side as it takes away from the melody. The instruments also seem to be "fixed" in one panning position all the time---having them wander more would improve the spaciousness. Overall, a pretty good song that probably had about 1 - 3 minutes more life left in it.
