The first thing what I realized was that extra-low quality piano. Then some other noisy hihats and drums joined. The synth organ sounds better, however the whole sound is coming from a very far and dirty place... this is a very weak point of Your tune. The other technical fault is the high number of virtual channels (48), which is not in accordance to the song structure. That was about the samples and your technique. The song itself is not bad. One thing is that the piano intro does not fit to the main part so well, but the main part is really interesting, there are some catchy parts and nice ideas. You have to work on the drums a bit more the next time (please :), create better samples (I mean quality) and You will reach the top... now it's a better mediocre production... And don't be afraid, just variate the chords, because they are too repetitive.

*File Specs* [Filename]m6v-soc.xxx [Title]Sky of Clouds [Total playing time]03:54 *Musical Values* [Creativity]Club and old fashion house mixed? [Story]N/A [Structure]Nice intersections, a few good breaks the main key-progression is a bit too long in a row between those sections.[Harmony]There appears to be some harmony here, most found in the melodic parts of the song and the chord parts, the percussion is coming "from somewhere" from the background. [Realness/Fantasy factors] N/A *Technical Values* [Instruments]Reasonably arranged, minor points are NNA's for some instruments (percussion/piano) i noticed a pitch envelope setting for one of the crash hats, is there any good reason for doing that? [Samples]Some good ones, some dull sounding, some volume gained over maximum, ripped, average, average [Arrangements]Now here is where i noticed some nice tricks in the patterns, specially the melodic part in tracks 17 to 20 patterns 22/24 etc drawed my attention there are some good tricks used here to create a fine stereo environment without surround mode.[Use of...]48 tracks, 28 virtual channels is about 72% of it's maximum real tracks value, a few percussion instruments could have lived without sample-continue, one of the pianos are becoming a bit weak in power because of these overwhelming NNA settings, use them carefully or they will ruin the essence of your song style and depth. [Sample Quality] 8 bits and 16 bits, but a lot below average, even some of those 16 bit samples sound dull! *Sounding Techniques* [Depth]Depth scale is good, this song is well mixed, enclosing around - and coming towards you. [Width]The variety of multitimbre is big but not really noticable, there are a lot of instruments which sound like eachother in the melodical sections [Headphones]Worth to try listen to this piece via this method! [Speakers]Your room sounds bigger when the melodic parts starts to jingle through these.

Good melody throughout. Too bad it wasn't longer.

The beat is too simple. The melody, sample and panning combination starting on the 8th order is excellent. I was expecting to hear a little bit more than two "yeah" in the song; about 3 more "voicing" would have been great. That thing started on pattern 8, channel 19+20 is cool. I also like the "disco" part from order 16 to 19. Wouldn't life be much better if great modules like this one were played in school (and other) dances, instead of boring radio-dance? I remarked the module often crashed Impulse Tracker (no points were taken off for that of course, but I wonder what the problem is).

Could have used a higher quality piano instrument. I don't really care for the intro. Once it gets going though, it's pretty good. I think it's quite lacking in bass throughout the song. Like the organ though, and there are lots of nice changes in melodies and chords. Nice happy danceable tune.

Not a very bad song, even it is not especially good. In the songs doesn´t reigns the armony. The instrument 14 sounds very high in the beginning. It needs a bass. If the composer would have worked on it more it could be much better. It is very original. Its form and technique are good.

At the outset, the piano sample is well suited to the part it's playing. Once the song reaches order 2, however, the piano isn't bright enough. Perhaps a multisample would have been in order here. For the style of music that this is, the drums were much too weak and simple. This style needs a heavy, hard-hitting, complex rhythm track which this song lacks. This song could be fabulous given a remix to beef up the rhythm track. Excellent use of panning gave the song a lifting, open feel. It for some reason reminds me of the soundtrack to Golden Axe at times. This song could go many different ways and shine in any of them. As it stands, though, it lacks dynamics and energy enough to earn it a better rating.
