Exceptionally good samples, nice style and execution. You dare to improvise and the tune flows very very well and I it kept me smiling and grooving all through it. This is truly an original tune and some of the parts just baffles me. A wholly remarkable tune. I hope you do well.

Vismajor: a jazz tune. kind of this music you hear in a piano-bar. technically very experienced i couldnt find any harmonious mistake. the author took the right samples: a trumpet-like,bass, piano and a soft beat. if you listen to it you feel like a real jazz-band is playing in front of you. the tune is long with many changes. very good job ! 70

Not really the style of style of music I get into, but is very good never the less. The Jazzy feel is kept throughout with nice choices for lead instruments. I can see the muffled effect the musician is going for with the guitar (pattern 13), but even though it adds to the jazzy flavour, it doesn't really sound that great so perhaps it could have been used less or toned down. The flute is cool as well. Can't fault the chords. Overall well put together, my advice is to not change the pitch of the guitar to such extreme levels.

Very good quality samples--they sound almost as if they were digitally produced on a sampler and then 8-bitted cleanly. The drums were realistically done (by a 2-armed 2-footed drummer) but I didn't like the kick's quality all that much. It just didn't sound right. I enjoyed most of the tune, but there were some parts that just annoyed me--first of all, the wah guitar didn't sound very realistic because the wah was applied somewhat sloppily--it jumped around more than is logically possible. The slide on the piano solo around order 20h was a bit lackluster because it didn't slide a far enough range on the keyboard--something a little more styled to the likes of Jerry Lewis' "Great Balls of Fire" where he slides almost the full range of the keyboard. Also, the piano took too long to resume after that slide. Nice use of effects, but some of your tone portamentos seemed to be detrimental to your tune. Also...your songs are getting aliased (they all sound too similar.)

The entire song sounded synthetic and hollow. Fill things out more...not just with more channels for harmony and what-not, but with the panning too. A good example of what you could have done is around order 32, where you doubled up the piano (which was OK), but you left the hat there all by itself. It sounded waay out of place -- add some subtle echos for it or something, or add some other non-distracting background noise. The song itself was tracked pretty well and there were no musical flaws in it really, but it lacked a real aesthetic quality, mostly because it lacked atmosphere.

Well composed and interesting, with a few minor harmonic annoyances. Sounds a bit artificial but well attempted and still sounds nice. (reminds me of commander keen 4 for some reason :) great pianos.
