Piano was nice. But the piano rolls were not natural enough. Perhaps it should be faster. On the other hand, the piano chords were nice. The mix between the piano and the soft chimes is great. However the muted trumpet really sounds too artificial and brought the song down a lot. Ask the m6i-volg guy for some pointers. He's not perfect either, but I'm sure you can learn some from him. Use more effect values when playing the trumpets because they won't sound right without them. Still, I love the slow atmosphere of the song. I found it relaxing end very enjoyable. I like how this song doesn't depend on a strong beat to sustain itself. Instead, I like how it grows slowly from ambience to a slightly jazzy piece. It really shows the talents of the musician. Just get more control over the tracker (learn about effects) and you'll be able to put more of your musical genious on track.

Wrong division, pal. Really nice harmonies you play with the EP, altough the real piano could be tracked better, use some delays to make those stranger rythms you use exact and not approximations. Nice fusion of funk and some kind of jungle, and it really works great. Some nagging about mixing, for example your snth bell is too loud and you should fade it out faster. The song was a pleasure to listen to, and will be one of the few rookie entrants I will save. I think you'd made the second round in intermediate division, too.

A rather plain tune, overall. Quality samples, and good volume balance, but a little simplistic at times, notably the beginning. The piano in order 6 seems to have some mistimed notes, even if it is just "jamming". Good arrangement of the samples, but perhaps some more realistic samples could be used.

You were a little slow on your introduction. 51 seconds was too long to wait to get the song going. You might want to have changed your drum beat every once in a while, making the song more interesting. I really liked what you did at Order 10, that was good. Try and surprise your listener more often. One thing you might want to be carefull of in the future is this... Now, I know Panning Envelopes are fun, but don't make your panning change too quickly, it makes the instrument sound really wierd, especially if you are wearing headphones, having the sample swing back and forth between one ear and the other. That might be something you need to be aware off, other than that, a nice song.

A very listenable song with no glaring flaws. The use of high quality samples for the most part adds to the tone of the song and helps build a competent sound. The cabaret jazz style of music is however one which is perhaps being a little overused in tracked music recently and this song suffers because of it as it can be hard to follow at times and not always inviting for the listened. Overall however a very commendable entry.

Advanced rookie tracking :) Very smooth technique, really catchy music. Fair instrumentation. Maybe You will learn how to track the trumpet... :) some more sample offsets, portamentos and volume changes needed. You used a very agressive panning envelope for the vibes, but this is the only flaw... I like this song, it comes with an atmosphere... thanks.

The only problem that I truly had with this song is that the number of channels used was too great compared to what the song used, and that of effects. This song was very well done, but it seemed that it could have been tracked more efficiently.

You seen to really know what your doing piano-wise :) This is a good track with no realy flaws. The only thing I can really suggest is perhaps some panning. Your transitions are very well done, especially for a rookie. Likewise with the lead piano. Even so, these songs don't really do it for me because of the fact that the lead is never really the same twice; therefore the listner can't find anything familiar in the song. It is not very catchy at all. To make a really good tune, even in this style, there has to be that element that catchs the listners ear, and makes them want to hear it again somewhere later in the song. This song (and most of these types of songs) don't have that element.

Quite orginal and artistic. Good piano parts. Could improve in technique. The piano sample is good, but most samples isnīt of that great quality.

Wow!!! Simply a sweet tune!!! :-) Again a surprise with this rookie tune. The idea is nice and was very good realized. The easy way to listen to a tune!!! I never found a tune like this in the whole MC6!!! Itīs worth listening, modulation and instruments (sine-wave) are something fine. Itīs so relaxing!!! Though it was so short. Or it just seems like beeing short!!! At least this tune wonīt be a modulation & technique crack, but I like it!!! It is very cool in its style. ;-)
